Mid-Summer Warrior Course near Glastonbury in Somerset with Graham Butcher, Alex Fell-Bowers and Tim Abbott

Venue: Doolittle's Campsite, North Curry, near Glastonbury in Somerset (nine miles from Junction 25 on the M5)

Graham Butcher has over thirty years experience in various martial arts and has been a student and then a teacher of Stav under Ivar Hafskjold for fifteen years. Alex Fell-Bowers has over twenty years experience in martial arts and has been a student of Stav for more than twelve. Alex has a particular interest in practical self–defence. Tim has been a Student of Stav for about five years and has been teaching in his own right for the past year. This course is suitable for beginners and those with experience. The syllabus will cover.

  • Staff exercises
  • working with the five principles
  • Eighteen animal exercises
  • Practical self–defence
  • Sword training

    • All meals are included but you will need to bring:

  • Warm and waterproof clothing and appropriate footwear and suitable clothing for hot weather as well.
  • Bedding and tent or shelter
  • Washkit and personal eating equipment
  • Staff and other training equipment you may have.
  • Notebook and pen/pencil
